IMPACK’s Everio Stacker: A fully automatic stacker to stack and band your boxes coming from your folder-gluer(s) or rotary die cutters.

Before we dive into the Top 10 FAQs about IMPACK’s Everio stacker, you should know What is the Everio Stacker & What Companies Is It Best Suited For?, and the benefits it provides to your stacking process.

The Everio stacker is IMPACK’s folder-gluer stacker used to stack and bundle boxes coming from your folder-gluer(s) or rotary die cutters before sending them to a banding/strapping machine that bands/straps them together.

So, the Everio essentially helps you reduce manual workload, improve your folder-gluer’s productivity, and cut down on costs by semi-automating, or full-automating, your bundling and banding/strapping process.

2. How Automated is the Everio Stacker?

ezgif.com-gif-maker - 2021-12-18T231840.506

The Everio stacker is always offered Fully-Automatic machine for all boxes that do not need an inversion. Typically these are straight-line boxes or envelopes.

As an optional add-on, we offer the Semi-Automatic Inversion module for crash-lock/auto-bottom boxes. But even this still uses the automatic counting and stacking mechanism of the Everio. In most cases, the Everio stacker is fully-automatic.

We recently developed and integrated a modules to the Everio stacker that offers a semi-automated inversion process for crash-lock/auto-bottom boxes since they require manual inversion.

The counting and stacking of batches is still fully-automated, only the inversion of 2 small stacks is done by hand and then sent to the fully-automated bundler.

The manual inversion is also valuable with 4 corner boxes since the top box of a stack of 4 corners is often placed face down on the pile to protect the corners of other boxes.

This means that with one machine you will be able to bundle and band/strap all your boxes.

With a semi-automatic Everio stacker, the operator could manually invert the batches after bundling them together before they can be sent out for banding/strapping.

The purpose of developing this semi-automated process for the Everio is to increase the versatility of the Everio so that it can adapt to all possible boxes.

3. Can the Everio Stacker Process All My Boxes?

Answer: The short answer is yes, it can!

Because the Everio is offered as a Fully-Automatic stacker with extra Semi-Auto mode, it can process all medium to large-sized boxes.

This includes straight-lines, 4-corners, 6-corners, and crash-lock/auto-bottoms made of carton board or corrugated board.

That said, just like with any other machine, the Everio stacker has its limitations which is why it is important that you fill out the “Box Information Template” that your IMPACK Expert sent to you.

The more diligently the questions in the “Box Information Template” are answered, the more information we will have to help you choose the best machine for your boxes.

4. Can I see the Everio Stacker Running?

ezgif.com-gif-maker - 2021-12-18T231340.169

IMPACK's Everio at a client's production site.

Answer: Yes, and through several options!

At IMPACK, we like to be as flexible as possible with our clients.

Therefore, we offer 5 different options for you to see our machines running:

  1. We can share videos of the same machine running at another client’s production site.

  2. We can share videos of box testing with your own box samples.

  3. We can put you in touch with clients that own the same machine for a phone/video call.

  4. We can organize a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with your machine and boxes and we’ll offer you a 100% refund if the machine does not pass the FAT. No questions asked.

  5. We can organize for you to visit IMPACK’s manufacturing plant.

Because IMPACK’s Everio stacker is becoming very popular in the e-commerce industry and there is a worldwide competition going on right now regarding who can get those contracts, seeing an Everio stacker is a bit more challenging.

For more than 20 years now, we have sold over 500 machines around the world. And, most of those machines were sold without needing any demonstration units.

“But how do I buy a machine without a demonstration?”

Good question! By demonstration, we do not mean that we do not offer any demonstration. What we mean is that we do not show a demonstration of a machine in a demo center, unless requested.

"Why?"

Because a demo center does not show you the real deal with your boxes. A company that shows you a machine in a demo center is really showing you the machine the way they want you to see it and within a controlled environment. This is because they can set every working piece of the machine the way they want, choose the perfect dimension of the boxes to fit the machine’s specifications, and ensure that the machine is operating at maximum speed.

But again, that is a perfect and controlled environment.

Instead, we share videos of our machines taken at our clients’ production sites that show you a real-life utilization of the machine by real people. Not by IMPACK, but by box manufacturers, just like you, who purchased an IMPACK machine.

And for machines that are more complex and(or) when boxes are very specific, we always encourage our clients to have a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) to ensure that the machine does exactly what they’re looking for.

7. How Long Will It Take to Deliver My Machine?

Answer: Approximately 38-42 weeks.

How fast you get your machine depends on 3 factors:

  1. How fast you order your machine.

  2. How fast you sign the contract and complete your payment.

  3. What shipping method you choose.

At IMPACK, we build to order. We don’t stock machines in our inventory because every client’s production is different and so each machine is designed and built based on each client’s personal needs.

Hence, if you don’t order, we don’t build.

And we take orders first in, first out. The faster you order, the faster you get your machine.

The Everio stacker’s lead time is 38-42 weeks. That is, it takes 38-42 weeks to manufacture and ship your Everio stacker

And the shipping time (the time it takes to ship or transport your machine) all depends on the shipping/transportation method you choose.

A shipment to North America takes 2 to 7 days depending on the client’s state.

A shipment to Europe, on the other hand, takes 5-6 weeks via marine shipping. Expedited shipping is also available via air transportation (2-3 weeks) but is more expensive.

Therefore, combining the lead time with the shipping time, it would take a total of 38-42 weeks for the Everio stacker to arrive at your facility.

Yes — it is long but that is because we design and build every machine from scratch with your data in mind. And the Everio stacker has been one of our top sold machines with great success for Amazon boxes.

At IMPACK, we are always on target with our deliveries. Apart from very few, and rare exceptions, we have not delayed the delivery of a single machine in IMPACK’s 20-year history.
