Mathieu Tremblay
Managing Director
Joining IMPACK in its early stages, Mathieu Tremblay progressed through key roles before becoming Managing Director. His leadership is shaped by hands-on engineering experience and practical industry insight, with a strong emphasis on cooperation and collaboration.
At IMPACK, our greatest strength has never been just our machines, it’s the internal expertise behind them.
When Mathieu Tremblay joined the company in 2003 as an electrical engineering and automation intern, IMPACK had only five employees and was fully immersed in research and development. In this environment where everything still had to be developed, he learned every aspect of the craft.
This hands-on experience, combined with a complete technical understanding from prototype to production floor, allows Mathieu to lead IMPACK with insight. His contributions reflect IMPACK’s DNA: solutions engineered by people who truly understand the industry’s challenges.

As the company grew, Mathieu saw the need for better internal structure. True to his “roll-up-your-sleeves” approach, he stepped in and helped organize engineering, production, finances, project management, and even grant applications. Always with the same mindset: do what needs to be done for the company to move forward.
Throughout the years he’s supported IMPACK’s growth in various key roles, including Engineering Project Coordinator (2013), Director of Engineering (2016), Director of Production and Engineering (2020) and Deputy General Manager (2021). As IMPACK founder Dominic Theriault focused more and more on a strategic role as President, it was only natural for Mathieu to take on the role of Managing Director, not for the title, but to continue building, structuring, and strengthening what he had helped create from the very beginning. His appointment as Managing Director in 2025 is a testament to his commitment and vision for the company.

Mathieu Tremblay demonstrates leadership through action, consistently modeling IMPACK’s values in his work with internal teams, clients, and partner OEMs. He places strong importance on cooperation and collaboration, fostering a culture where trust, openness, and shared problem-solving thrive.
This approach has a tangible impact on IMPACK’s culture, creating an environment where teams cooperate to craft bold innovations. Mathieu is particularly focused on building strong relationships with complementary OEMs, believing that the best results come from collaboration rather than competition.
IMPACK has been a worker-shareholder cooperative since 2005. This means that the wealth created is shared with employees, because the value comes from them. This model reflects Mathieu’s deep belief in a more fair and equitable way of doing business, one that recognizes the true expertise of the people who design, install, and support our solutions worldwide.
