Lany Lepage Cayer

Stockroom Coordinator

With IMPACK since 2021, Lany Lepage Cayer has grown from a mechanical assembler to stockroom coordinator, using her 15 years of experience to keep parts flowing smoothly and support the team every day. Always feeling respected in a male-dominated field, she values IMPACK’s quality of life and brings a steady, people-first professionalism to her role.

At IMPACK, we often talk about the build quality, precision, and performance of our machines. But behind all of that, what matters most is our people.
Today, we want to highlight Lany Lepage Cayer, who has been with us since 2021 and whose journey perfectly reflects the IMPACK spirit.

When Lany joined the team, she already brought an impressive background: 12 years of experience in industrial mechanics and formal training as an industrial mechanic. She started at IMPACK as a mechanical assembler, a demanding role where rigor, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of machines are essential. Very quickly, she stood out for her reliability, consistency, and pride in a job well done.

Her teammates describe her as someone who leaves nothing to chance. And it showed on the assembly floor: Lany often set personal challenges for herself, pushing to beat her own time when building a machine, without ever compromising on quality. That inner drive is a big part of what makes her so strong in the field.

Her path is even more meaningful, knowing she works in a field that is still largely male-dominated. Yet Lany says it simply: “I have always felt respected at IMPACK”. And for her, that isn’t a small thing. It’s the foundation. The kind of environment that allows you to take your place, grow, and contribute fully.

Since last November, Lany has taken on a new challenge, becoming a Stockroom Coordinator. A key role in IMPACK’s daily operations: she handles receiving parts, organizes stock, supports production directly, and makes sure every assembly workstation has exactly what it needs to keep moving.

Every part in the right place, at the right time: Lany has a key role in effectively supporting our assembly teams.

And when we talk about inventory, we’re talking about thousands of parts, bins that must be clearly identified, components sorted methodically, and above all, items found quickly and accurately. It takes strong organization, real shop-floor intuition, and an excellent understanding of our machines and practical needs.

What Lany enjoys most about this role is the mix of responsibilities: interacting with the assemblers, understanding their priorities, finding practical solutions, and keeping the storeroom organized so everything stays smooth, reliable, and efficient. As she puts it herself, her goal is to ensure a precise, fast, and dependable flow of materials to support operations. She brings structure and common sense to the job, always focused on supporting the team and improving things on the floor.

Lany also values the quality of life she finds at IMPACK, a balance that truly matters, especially as a mother of three. She embodies that quiet strength we admire: skilled, committed, genuine, and deeply human.
