VIRTUO Auto Packer: How it Works
The VIRTUO is an automatic case packer built for producers of heavy straight-line corrugated and folding carton boxes (beverages, dry goods). It packs boxes without bending or arching. The VIRTUO is IMPACK's automatic case packer designed specifically for producers of straight-line boxes — both corrugated and folding carton. Unlike conventional packers, the VIRTUO loads boxes directly into the case without an arch or bending, keeping the shingle straight while the case moves up and down to receive it. It addresses a real gap in the market. Before the VIRTUO, there was no reliable automated packing solution for corrugated boards.
The solution is built around four core sections — box turning, introduction (counting and separating the stream into batches), filling, and ejection — with an ergonomically adjustable outfeed conveyor for the operator. Optional add-ons include an automatic case feeder for a fully unattended operation and a flap-opening system.
The VIRTUO comes in 3 main configurations. All configurations include an IN3XL box turner to ensure the greatest packing configuration flexibility. An intuitive touchscreen with recipe storage makes changeovers simple.

Optional Case Management with Manual Quality Control Station
IMPACK also offers a tailorable case management system with a manual quality control station. Cases are routed to the quality check station automatically at a set interval or via operator trigger.
